The newest WoW expansion is coming out in like 3 weeks! It sounds like this is going to be a pretty popular expansion pack. They are changing a lot of aspects of the game and allowing 10 more levels! Im just interested in what other people think about this new addition to the World of Warcraft

yaa, wrath of the lich king is going to be bigger then burning crusade. The new patch pretty much added northrend and everything from WotLK to the game but you need to get it to make the deathknight, so the game is already pretty cool.

Bad, bad, bad, only destroying 9 million lives. If that wouldn't have come they would probably getting tired of the game soon... They should have a warning sign on the games, cause its so addicting...

haha, yah the game is so addictive that people just get lost in it when they play it. I wouldn't say its 'destroying' that many lives.. but its definitely not helping them...

Yeah it can be addicting but it is fun. The death knight is a really fun character to play with, but there are way to many of them. It is hard to find a group that isn't all death knights. They should have made two different hero classes. One for the Horde and one for the Alliance.

Well, i wasnt able to find how much it sold in a week, but most reports say that they sold 2.6 million dollars worth of copies within 24 hours, which is pretty impressive.

well since there is 11 millions players now, thats means that 11 millions ppl pay 15$ per month and spend at least 100$ to buy the orginial game/burningcrusade and wotlk. Add at least 10-15 million(maybe a lot more) that bought the game and stop playing. That means: 11millions x15$ = 165 millions $ a month (11 + 10) millions x 100$ = 2.1 billion $ in selling the actual game And it been realeased for over 4 years, averaging around 8 millions ppl a month, you get: 2.1 billion$ + 8 million x 15$ x 48 = 5,760 +2.1 billions = almost 8 billions blizzard made from this game (or more) gg loool.
Wotlk was kinda awesome with the 70-80 leveling and the new lore, but the pvp was not rly fixed and the 25 man instance naxx was pretty bad and rly easy-more compare with was it was before (40man). At least the latest big patch (ulduar) bring a new amazing dungeon which bring back a lot of fun.
