New member groups have been created/modified. Here is a list of the groups, the number of stars they have, and their power in the forum. If you have any ideas please reply to this thread with them. If you are artistic we would like to get pictures similar to the Administrator and Small Moderator pictures, please reply to this thread if you are up to the job!
Administrator - 6 Red Stars - Can do anything and everything. Global Moderator - 5 Red Stars - Can do everything that an Administrator can do except for change Member Groups and a couple other things that only an administrator has the ability to do. Moderator - 5 Blue Stars - Basically everything that the Small Moderator can do, except on every board, not just the ones he/she is selected to moderate. Small Moderator - 4 Blue Stars - Everything with threads and posts that he/she is selected to moderate. It says who the moderators of each board is under the name of that board, or close to it. Senior Member - 3 Green Stars - Move Threads, Lock Threads. Junior Member - 2 Green Stars - No Power, just having the acknowledgment of being better than just a Member. Member - 1 Green Star - No Power, just having the acknowledgment of being a member. New Member - 1 Yellow Star - No Power, shows that the user is fairly new to the forum.
When this thread was created No one has been moved to the new groups. This should be different within 24 hours.

The Moving of people has begun. Everyone who does not have a moderator position will be New Member. In order to be changed to Member, you must have at least 50 posts and be with us for at least 2 months. To become a Junior Member you must have at least 150 posts and be with us for at least 4 months. For a Senior Member position, you must have at least 300 posts and be with us for at least 8 months. For moderator positions, we will Personal Message you if we think you have a chance of becoming a Small Moderator, or more. Then you can Personal Message us back saying whether you want to accept the position we offer or not. If someone is inactive for 2 months or more, that person will be demoted to the rank of New Member, regardless of what their current rank is. If you know that you will be inactive for at least 2 months please Contact me so that I can make a note of it in your profile to stop us from demoting you. *If we have not promoted you and you think you should have been promoted by now, please Personal Message me... We may have missed you on the list of members. PLEASE DO NOT PERSONAL MESSAGE ME UNTIL YOU ARE SURE YOU MEET THE REQUIREMENTS STATED ABOVE FOR BEING PROMOTED* We have the right to change anyone to any group we want. These groups are what will typically be used, but if we want to demote or promote someone before or after the requirements, we can. If you want to be a Small Moderator of a certain category then please personal message me. We want to be able to setup more Small Moderators assigned to specific categories, so we don't have to do everything . For instance, if you know a lot about the upcoming game, Starcraft 2, then make some posts in that category showing us that you have a passion for it and then we can consider promoting you to a Small Moderator and giving you power over that board ;D Edit- All members have been placed into the appropriate groups.

Dam, gotta wait 2 months for next rank? Wait, if I signed up near end of january, and it turns february, would that count as a month? ;[ lol
Haha you know I'm jking right? I'm good with waiting 2 months. I need tons of help on modding before I can even be considered a noob modder anyways.

there can be exceptions made like if you get to (lets say) 100 posts before your two month period i think you deserve the next rank...

there can be exceptions made like if you get to (lets say) 100 posts before your two month period i think you deserve the next rank... seems fair, but what if someone just made a whole mess of useless posts? (reminds me of myself ;[)(don't tell prepare2lose!!)

Useless posts aren't that bad. Unless they come on and make 20 posts that say nothing more than "D" then they can't be completely useless

i agree there is almost no useless post as long it comments on subject. Like if i were to just say cool....not completely neccessary...

No creating threads of something that has already been discussed either.

ya, its all setup and the rules are up there. The exceptions go for promoting people, not demoting them. So if you go past the minimum requirements for a junior member then we will not say that you won't be promoted. But if you don't achieve the minimum requirements, but did other things like make tutorials, submit maps, or anything else helping the forum, then we might promote you to the next rank sooner.
