aight Well i have tryed to make custom skillz on war 3 using redones spell editor Requirments:Extract unitability.slk and a bunch of other .txt files in war3.mpq Please help me make custom skills becuase i want to make a map -nick aka: xT.RuSh Channel: Clan xUx

The file is actually called Units\AbilityData.slk
I personally have no experience with Redones spell editor, but I do make custom spells and things for Reign of Chaos maps so I know what files are where.
If you had specific question(s) about making the spells and using the editor and things I can answer them, but I am not going to take you through step by step because it sounds like the editor is trying to do that.
If there are problems with the .txt files then post their names here and I can give you the correct ones (if the current ones are wrong) or figure why they aren't working.

But the list for the required extraction is: AbilityData.slk <race>AbilityFunc.txt <race>AbilityStrings.txt ItemAbilityFunc.txt ItemAbilityStrings.txt NeutralAbilityFunc.txt NeutralAbilityStrings.txt
Readme:
1.File|Open the AbilityData.slk file. 2.Select the ability you'd like to edit and press Ctrl+N to create a new ability based on it. 3.Change the values on the current screen and the F9 screen. Use the mouse-over hints. 4.When you've made new versions for all your abilities, press Ctrl+S to save it. 5.Open the World Editor and assign your new abilities to units, then save. 6.Use the MPQ extractor to place the slk and all the txt files into the \Units section of the map file. (Using another program for extracting and embedding these files is something you must already be familiar with as part of War3 map-making. There are plenty of FAQs available if you need help with this process.)

What part of it are you specifically stuck on? I searched for the program your using, but I couldn't find anything... Can I have the exact name of it so I can see what you see?
From my point of view, those instructions are pretty clear.. for step 6 just download WinMPQ or PowerMPQ (google them) and use those to put the files into the correct spots.
This method is pretty much the same as mine, but using a program. In the two .txt files that have <race> in them, <race> just stand for a war3 race, I personally use Undead (for no particular reason).
My impression of what you need to do is use WinMPQ or PowerMPQ to extract those .txt's and the .slk from the Warcraft III Database and put them into a folder (mine is on my desktop). They should automatically make an additional folder inside your folder titled Units; don't change that title. Then you can use this program to open the extracted files and change them the way you want. Then take the extracted files (now edited to your liking) and put them into your map. I however am not looking at the program and this may be wrong. Try to take the instructions one step at a time and tell me exactly where you are struggling so I can help the specific problems.

You are not opening things with the Editor. You are extracting the files to a folder on like desktop with the proccess I stated above. Then you are opening this spell program that you downloaded. Inside that program you click the File|Open and then select the AbilityData.slk file. Hopefully thats a little more clear! If it isn't I can try to get pictures for you, however I can't seem to download the program from that link.. so if you know of a more up-to-date link that I can get it from please post it here!

ok well i did make that folder on desktop (main thing i did wrong)
Then everything worked:D
Then I tried to make a skill which is fairly confusing and it wouldnt save
Please download it from the link above and tell me what i did wrong in the skill making progress

First, I take back what I said about the desktop theory. The folder you create must be in the same folder as the AbilityData.slk file!!!!! That is the way the program is setup and it will not work without it!!
So after you open the .slk file inside War3 Spell Ed you need to select the spell that you want to edit. Try to choose a spell similar to the one you want to end up with.
Once you are selected on the spell you want to use, press Cntrl-N to duplicate that spell. At the bottom of the list is the duplicated spell. Now you edit each field accordingly. Once you are finished press Cntrl-S and it will save your work (but you aren't done yet!!). Now open World Editor and when you look to choose a unit's spell, your new spell should be there.. as if it is a typical War3 spell. The spell is finally inside your War3 system so you can use it with World Editor, but you need to put it into the map so it works when other people play your map!! To do this just follow step number 6:

When you select the duplicated spell, in the box on the right there are a whole bunch of columns with things like Mana, HeroDur, UnitDur, etc. Those are the ones you edit. Information about what each column is appears in the box at the bottom of the program when you select on the column. After you edit all of the columns make sure you save it!
Also, make sure you are selecting the NEW ability in World Editor and not the one you Duplicated!!

It is recognized by world editor as a regular ability. So it should be in the spot that it fits, which is alphabetical order. For instance if you made it a Hero ability called Apples, then it will be in the top of the Hero ability list. It all depends on the ability you copied, because it may be undead.. or night elf.. or human etc.

To get 10 gold per minute use this trigger: Event- Time-Periodic event-every 10 seconds of game time Events Time - Every 10.00 seconds of game time Conditions- Actions- Player-Add Property-add 10 to Player (1-12) current gold Actions Player - Add 10 to Player 1 (Red) Current gold Player - Add 10 to Player 2 (Blue) Current gold Player - Add 10 to Player 3 (Teal) Current gold Player - Add 10 to Player 4 (Purple) Current gold Player - Add 10 to Player 5 (Yellow) Current gold Player - Add 10 to Player 6 (Orange) Current gold Player - Add 10 to Player 7 (Green) Current gold Player - Add 10 to Player 8 (Pink) Current gold Player - Add 10 to Player 9 (Gray) Current gold Player - Add 10 to Player 10 (Light Blue) Current gold Player - Add 10 to Player 11 (Dark Green) Current gold Player - Add 10 to Player 12 (Brown) Current gold
The italicized is the actual outcome of the trigger and the non-italicized part shows how to get to the outcome. This trigger will give Players 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 10 gold every minute, obviously you just delete the players you don't want to get the gold.
This is the easy-to-understand version of this trigger, you can use player groups and variables etc. to make it more complex and less work, but unless you are experienced with groups and variables I suggest starting with this.
There are many ways to change this around to allow it to be different if there is a farm. One of the easier ways is to make a 2nd set of triggers that give an additional 10 gold to the player with the farm if they have a farm. That way they get 20 gold every 10 seconds, instead of 10 every 5 seconds. Here is an example of how you could do this:
Detect Farm Events Unit - A unit owned by Player 1 (Red) Finishes construction Conditions (Unit-type of (Constructed structure)) Equal to Farm Actions Trigger - Turn on EXTRA GOLD
EXTRA GOLD Events Time - Every 10.00 seconds of game time[/i] Conditions- Actions Player - Add 10 to Player 1 (Red) Current gold
These two triggers are only for Player 1's status. The first trigger is to detect if a farm is created, if it is then the second trigger is started. The second trigger just adds 10 gold to player 1 every 10 seconds, which makes 20 gold every 10 seconds because of the trigger at the top of this post.
