No, sadly it isnt free. If you want it you have to buy the whole Macromedia package i think, which is pretty dang expensive. Great art isnt cheap :/

I just saw the price, it was 4000 Kronor (Swedish Cash) and that is around 450 Euro and thats freaking MUCH!

ya My school has it too, we also have the whole adobe creative suite (the system of programs that include photoshop) my school doesn't hand out laptops though.

lol, it is complicated and will take some time. I don't even know how to do half of the stuff and I learn something everytime I use it. Try to start with basic stuff like making a square and using different colors and designs... It might be easier to just use a basic program like Paint and explore the simple tools of that first.

Ok, start a new thread in the Graphic Design board and post some basic questions that you don't understand (for example: "How do I make a box??" or "How do I draw a straight line in blue??"). Then I can try to help you through it.
